Mica Paper

CDMICA® mica paper production subject the natural mica minerals to the action of highly pressurized water jet, forming flat flakes with several microns thick, whose physical and chemical properties have been carefully preserved. The resulting water slurry is fed to a special type of paper machine, forming continuous rolls of mica paper. There is no any binding agent to hold the mica flakes together, as a result the mica paper is innoxious and free of halogen, but with extremely good thermal and mechanical properties which is an suitable alternative of asbestos in wide range of application.
